Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; minimum High School/GED with customer service experience.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn claims software.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
• Review, investigate, and document 1st party property claims under direct supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Learn to investigate and evaluate all relevant facts and information to determine coverage per policy terms.
• Establish accurate scope of damages for building and contents losses and create estimates.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Demonstrate openness to continuous learning, especially AI and digital transformation.
• Acquire and maintain relevant Insurance License(s) and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months.
• May require extensive travel, including overnight stays, to support customers across multiple locations.
