Job summary

Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) seeks a Project Coordinator for NASA’s Earth Science Division to support a diverse communications, outreach, and engagement team. The role is full-time, remote with some hybrid opportunities in the DC area, and offers a salary range of $82,000 to $112,000 annually.

The coordinator will organize meetings, track milestones, manage project documentation, and support senior leaders across multiple projects. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (B.S) degree and 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current PMP certification or comparable work experience.
• 3+ years supporting teams in a project coordinator role.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
• Experience with Office 365 and/or Google Workspace in a shared environment.
• Experience specifying and utilizing project management tools to track team deliverables and milestones.
• Well-organized self-starter with proven coordination skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regular meetings and facilitate information sharing among project teams and partners, virtually and in-person.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, milestones, and address issues as they arise.
• Capture meeting minutes, recordings, and action items.
• Maintain project infrastructure and documentation, and manage project resources.
• Compile reports for management review.
