Job summary

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support NASA's Earth Science Division.

This full-time, remote role may offer occasional hybrid work in the Washington, DC area and involves coordinating diverse communications, outreach, and engagement projects. You will organize meetings, track progress, capture minutes, maintain project documents, and prepare reports for management.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
• PMP certification or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years supporting teams in a project coordinator role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Office 365 and/or Google Workspace in a shared environment.
• Experience using project management tools to track deliverables and milestones.
• Well-organized self-starter with ability to balance multiple tasks in a team setting.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regular meetings and facilitate information sharing among project teams and partners, virtually and in-person.
• Monitor progress, timelines, milestones and address issues.
• Capture minutes, recordings and action items from meetings.
• Maintain project infrastructure and documentation in project management tools.
• Compile reports for management review.
• Provide organizational redundancy to project leads.
• Support senior level meetings and other team operations.
