Job summary

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) seeks a Project Coordinator to join NASA's Earth Science Division. The role is full-time and remote with occasional hybrid work in the Washington, DC area.

You will help coordinate meetings, track progress, and maintain project documentation for a diverse communications team. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 6 years related experience, and a PMP certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 6 years related experience.
• Current PMP certification or comparable experience.
• 3+ years supporting teams in a project coordinator role.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills.
• Experience with Office 365 and Google Workspace in shared environments.
• Experience using tools to track deliverables and milestones.
• Well-organized self-starter with strong coordination skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• CMS content management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regular meetings and facilitate information sharing with project teams and partners.
• Monitor progress, timelines, milestones and address issues as they arise.
• Capture minutes, recordings, and action items from meetings.
• Maintain project infrastructure and documentation, including PM software and assets.
• Compile reports for management review.
• Provide organizational redundancy to project leads.
• Participate in senior level meetings as appropriate.
• Support smooth and timely operations across multiple projects.
