Ideal candidates have accounting experience (3+ years), familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Remote positions preferred within Central or Eastern time zones with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience preferred in accounting/finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in the engineering/construction or services industry is required.
• Proven track record and knowledge of working with accounting systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to support billing.
• Assist Project Manager to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Design processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables.
• Monitor and negotiate collection of overdue accounts.
• Perform project set-up and monthly invoicing for projects.
• Review vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Prepare and submit supporting client invoice documents.
