Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator II to join our team, with preference for the Central or Eastern time zone. The role focuses on project billing, including responding to client inquiries and verifying chargeable time, in line with accounting standards and billing policy.

Key responsibilities include managing project invoicing, collaborating with Project Managers, improving cash flow, and coordinating client portal submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or commensurate relevant experience.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in the engineering/construction or services industry is required.
• Proven track record with Deltek Vantagepoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billing process and respond to client inquiries.
• Verify employee chargeable time and ensure compliance with policy.
• Coordinate and issue invoices to clients and manage drafts with PMs.
• Perform project set-up, monthly invoicing, and revenue recognition tasks.
• Assist with annual financial audit preparation as needed.
