Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team remotely, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones. The role focuses on project cost accounting, reporting, and liaison work between operations and corporate accounting functions, including AP and payroll.

Candidates should have a strong GAAP knowledge base and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP systems. The position offers a pathway to contribute to project invoicing, client budgets, and management reporting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Certification (CMA/CPA) preferred but not required.
• Seven+ years of corporate project accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction industry preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost accounting and reporting.
• Liaise between operations and corporate accounting functions (AP, payroll).
• Review and analyze key performance metrics to support operations management.
