Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to join the team remotely, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones. You will support project cost accounting, reporting, and invoicing, working with multiple accounting functions to ensure accurate financials.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in corporate project accounting, knowledge of GAAP, and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint. A CPA/CMA is a plus. Salary range reflects market compensation and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• CMA/CPA preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industry preferred.
• GAAP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost accounting and reporting.
• Liaise between operations and accounting functions.
• Reconcile and analyze project cost reports for accuracy.
• Support monthly invoicing and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist in annual audit preparation and management reporting.
