Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team, preferably remote within the Central or Eastern time zones. The role focuses on project cost accounting and timely reporting to support operational decisions.

Candidates should bring 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint and ERP systems. A Bachelor's in accounting is required, CPA/CMA a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience preferred.
• Prior project accounting in architecture, engineering and/or construction preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint preferred; ERP system experience required.
• Must have AP full cycle exposure.
• Mergers and acquisitions experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reports on project cost accounting in adherence to company policies.
• Act as a liaison between operations and corporate accounting functions including accounts payable and payroll.
• Aid in review and analysis of key performance metrics to support operations management.
