Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to support project cost accounting and reporting on a mostly remote basis, preferably within the Central or Eastern time zones. You will collaborate with operations and corporate accounting to ensure accurate invoicing, budgeting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of corporate project accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and/or construction industry preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint preferred; ERP system experience required.
• AP full cycle exposure.
• Mergers and acquisitions experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost accounting reports in adherence to company policies.
• Act as liaison between operations and accounting functions (AP, payroll, etc.).
• Aid in review and analysis of key performance metrics for operations management.
