Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a professional Program Manager to support volunteer workforce engagement across SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments. This remote role partners with program managers and stakeholders to recruit and engage volunteers, providing guidance on policies and processes.

You will develop reports and dashboards, coordinate communications, and monitor recruitment activity, ensuring strong relationships and effective utilization of volunteers across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to create presentations and training modules; strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficient with MS Office and able to develop reports, dashboards, and briefing materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments.
• Build and maintain relationships with program managers, department stakeholders, Volunteer Services teams, volunteer leaders, and cross-functional partners.
• Consult with departments to identify workforce needs and determine recruitment strategies.
• Support departments in implementing recruitment plans and navigating volunteer processes.
• Coordinate communications, meetings, briefings, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage Volunteer Connection activities including position management and reporting.
• Provide guidance on volunteer workforce policies and best practices.
• Support volunteer leaders and teams to sustain enterprise and global positions.
• Pull, analyze, and interpret volunteer workforce data to support decision-making.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.
• Monitor workforce trends and recruitment activity across departments.
• Partner with stakeholders to address challenges and improve volunteer utilization.
