Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive modernization, governance, and delivery of enterprise data and reporting capabilities. You will be the voice of the customer, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and delivery teams to maximize value and platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience leading product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile organizations.
• Proven Product Owner or Product Manager experience with proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence
• Demonstrated experience working within a SAFe environment, including PI Planning, backlog prioritization, dependency coordination, and collaboration across Agile teams; SAFe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner for DataHub, translating product strategy into prioritized team objectives and balancing customer needs with technical considerations.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement and participate in SAFe events to align priorities, dependencies, and business value.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality, metadata, lineage, access, privacy, and stewardship requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
• Use stakeholder feedback and metrics to drive continuous product improvement and communicate strategy and progress.
