Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub within the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization. You will partner with stakeholders, architects, data engineers and delivery teams to maximize value and platform adoption across Biomedical Services, Humanitarian Services and Finance.

This role is 100% remote in the United States with an east coast schedule; you will manage the product backlog, translate requirements into user stories, and lead SAFe ceremonies to drive scalable,

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience leading product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile organizations.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven Product Owner or Product Manager experience with proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience working within a SAFe environment, including PI Planning, backlog prioritization, dependency coordination, and collaboration across Agile teams, is required.
• SAFe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for DataHub, voice of the customer to Agile team, translate strategy into prioritized objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement and SAFe events (PI Planning, sprint reviews, demos) to align priorities and value.
• Collaborate with governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality and privacy requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
• Communicate product strategy, risks, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
