Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a Product Owner for the DataHub team within the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization. You will translate complex business needs into prioritized objectives and collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to deliver trusted data across Biomedical, HR, Finance, and Fundraising domains.

This 100% remote role requires strong experience in data warehousing, governance, and SAFe practices, plus excellent communication to align business value with technical

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in Agile environments.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with SAFe, PI Planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-team collaboration; SAFe certification preferred.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear priorities and actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner for DataHub, translating product strategy into prioritized team objectives.
• Manage the backlog with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery objectives.
• Lead backlog refinement and participate in iteration planning, PI Planning, sprint reviews, and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality, metadata, lineage, access, privacy, and stewardship requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with delivery teams.
• Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Balance near-term value with long-term scalability and evolution of DataHub and enterprise data strategy.
