Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive modernization of enterprise data and reporting capabilities across multiple business areas. The role focuses on delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions and acting as the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams.

You will work in a remote capacity from anywhere in the United States and must align with an east coast schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience leading product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile organizations.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven PO/PM experience with proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner for DataHub, translating product strategy into prioritized team objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement and SAFe events to align priorities and business value.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality, metadata, and privacy requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
• Use stakeholder feedback and metrics to drive continuous product improvement and communicate strategy to stakeholders.
• Balance near-term value with long-term scalability of the DataHub platform.
