Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive modernization of enterprise data platforms across Biomedical, Humanitarian, Fundraising, HR, and Finance. You will work with business stakeholders, architects, and engineers to maximize value and platform adoption in a remote-first setup.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and governance skills, with experience in data warehousing, analytics platforms, or related tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years as Product Owner or Product Manager within Agile environments.
• Experience with SAFe including PI Planning and backlog prioritization.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for DataHub, translating strategy into prioritized team objectives.
• Manage and prioritize backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead SAFe ceremonies and coordinate with stakeholders to align delivery with business value.
• Incorporate data governance, security, and quality requirements into the backlog.
• Define acceptance criteria, release readiness, and measurable outcomes.
• Communicate strategy, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences.
