Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team within the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization. You will partner with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to translate business needs into prioritized objectives and to maximize value for multiple business areas including Biomedical Services, Humanitarian Services, Fundraising, HR, and Finance.

This role is 100% remote from home anywhere in the U.S. with an east coast schedule.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience leading product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile organizations.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven Product Owner or Product Manager experience with proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer for DataHub and translate product strategy into prioritized team objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, translating business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery objectives.
• Lead backlog refinement and participate in SAFe events to align priorities and outcomes.
• Partner with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality, metadata, lineage, and privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to define acceptance criteria and release readiness.
• Leverage stakeholder feedback, metrics, and business needs to drive continuous product improvement.
• Balance near-term business value with long-term scalability of the DataHub platform.
