Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive modernization of enterprise data and reporting capabilities across multiple business areas. The role works 100% remotely from home with an east-coast schedule, acting as the voice of the customer to balance business value and technical feasibility.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and delivery teams to maximize value, ensure data quality and governance, and advance the mission

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for backlog and collaboration.
• Experience in SAFe environments with PI Planning and backlog coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for DataHub and translate strategy into prioritized objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI planning, demos, and SAFe events.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate quality and privacy requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
• Communicate strategy, priorities, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
