Job summary

Healthbay Company seeks a strategic Process Consultant for a full-time contract to drive process transformation across business operations. You will partner with leadership, operations, and technology teams to analyze workflows, capture requirements, and design improved processes that enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions, documenting current and future-state processes, and guiding teams through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Information Systems or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or business transformation.
• Experience documenting business processes, operational procedures, workflows, and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of process analysis, workflow optimization, continuous improvement, and performance management.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess operations to determine process effectiveness, productivity, quality, and resource use.
• Review workflows to remove steps, reduce delays, and improve service delivery.
• Engage leaders and employees to understand operational challenges and desired outcomes.
• Conduct discovery sessions and process walkthroughs to capture requirements.
• Document existing processes, responsibilities, systems, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
• Design improved workflows and procedures supporting business objectives.
• Recommend changes based on data, feedback, industry practices and requirements.
• Perform gap assessments between current and future-state operations.
• Analyze impact of changes on staffing, technology, costs, and customer experience.
• Assist units in implementing approved improvements.
• Coordinate with technology teams to identify automation and digital solutions.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for tech and projects.
• Facilitate workshops and improvement meetings.
• Develop process documentation and implementation materials.
• Establish measures to evaluate efficiency, quality, cycle time, cost, and service.
• Review performance after implementation and suggest optimizations.
• Support change initiatives by clarifying new procedures and roles.
• Prepare executive summaries and improvement recommendations.
• Track initiatives, milestones, risks, and stakeholder actions.
• Promote standard processes and continuous improvement.
