Job summary

Syms Strategic Group is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) for a remote role serving Veterans Affairs. You will lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments, develop test plans, and ensure data integrity across legacy systems.

Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and end users is essential to validate requirements and test objectives.

Qualifications

Experience testing healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
Proven ability to develop detailed test plans, cases, and scripts.
Strong SDLC and testing methodology knowledge.
Ability to validate data integrity across legacy systems and interfaces.
Experience with HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA EDI transactions.

Responsibilities

Support testing for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures.
Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defects, and system upgrades.
Test HL7, FHIR, EDI transactions, and healthcare interoperability.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and end users to validate requirements and test objectives.
