Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) for a remote, full-time role in the Veterans Affairs domain. The position requires extensive testing across legacy healthcare systems and regulatory environments.

The ideal candidate will design comprehensive test plans, validate data integrity, and lead testing efforts for healthcare interoperability, including HL7/FHIR and related standards. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance readiness are expected.

Qualifications

Experience testing healthcare, government, or other regulated environments.
Experience testing enterprise applications in clinical, benefits, or healthcare operations.
Experience testing applications developed with MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache.
Experience validating healthcare data workflows and data integrity.

Responsibilities

Support testing and QA activities for mission-critical healthcare applications in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment.
Support modernization efforts and production support for legacy healthcare systems.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures for healthcare apps in MUMPS/Cache.
Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defect fixes, and upgrades.
Coordinate functional, integration, regression, UAT, system, and end-to-end testing.
Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare databases and interfaces.
