Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Testing Principal specializing in MUMPS. This 100% remote role supports Veterans Affairs with testing of mission-critical healthcare apps in a MUMPS/Cache environment.

The candidate will design comprehensive test plans, execute tests, validate data integrity, and coordinate with developers and stakeholders. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software testing, deep knowledge of MUMPS/InterSystems Cache, and experience with HL7/FHIR

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
10+ years of software testing, QA, or system validation experience.
Experience with MUMPS/InterSystems Cache and legacy healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and procedures for MUMPS/Cache healthcare apps.
Validate enhancements, bug fixes, and system upgrades across legacy systems.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing with cross-functional teams.
Verify data integrity across databases and interfaces.
Test HL7, FHIR, EDI transactions and healthcare interoperability.
