Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Software Testing Principal to lead testing for healthcare applications in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment. The role is 100% remote with Veterans Affairs (VA) domain exposure and a strong emphasis on QA leadership across the SDLC.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software testing, deep healthcare domain knowledge, and experience validating HL7/FHIR interfaces. This is a senior, government-facing position requiring U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, government, or regulated environments.
• Experience testing enterprise applications in healthcare operations.
• Experience with MUMPS and InterSystems Cache.
• Strong SDLC and testing methodologies knowledge.
• Experience creating detailed test plans and cases.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and QA for mission-critical healthcare apps in MUMPS/Cache.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, and upgrades.
• Lead testing activities and mentor junior testers.
• Coordinate with developers, analysts, and end users to validate requirements.
