Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Principal Presales Systems Engineer to join our remote networking team. You will partner with customers, account teams, and engineering to architect data center, WAN, cloud and AI infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.

In this role you will lead discovery sessions, present technical demonstrations, develop implementation plans, and produce compelling proposals for complex environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical pre-sales or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, or IT.
• Proven ability to design data center, WAN, cloud, AI infra solutions.
• Experience with RFP/RFI responses and customer workshops.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor through sales lifecycle.
• Lead architecture workshops and PoC engagements.
• Develop solution architectures and BOMs for complex environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and partners to align requirements.
• Deliver compelling proposals and respond to RFx.
