Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Principal Presales Systems Engineer to lead AI/Networking solutions globally. This remote/teleworker role focuses on architecting data center, AI networking, and WAN solutions, delivering compelling demos and engaging with large customers around complex deals.

You will influence technical strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate with hyperscalers and partners while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of technical experience in network infrastructure Architecture, design and solutions consulting.
Experience with large AI/Cloud networking in hyperscale environments.
Proven success in complex pre-sales roles with senior stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

Act as a primary technical architect early in complex sales cycles, translating business needs into scalable solutions.
Architect end-to-end networking infra with data center, AI networking, and WAN expertise.
Lead design and customization, coordinating input from specialists and product teams.
Deliver demos, PoCs, and presentations to articulate value to customers.
Engage with hyperscalers, enterprises, providers and partners to co-design solutions.
Influence strategy through deal validation and handoff to delivery teams.
Develop playbooks, enablement collateral, and best practices.
Mentor junior technologists and sales engineers.
