Deckers Brands seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect, AI and DTC Technology, to shape the architecture powering consumer‑facing platforms and a scalable AI platform. You will drive a composable DTC architecture, establish governance, and align cross‑brand, cross‑region initiatives with enterprise standards.

You will mentor teams, define reference architectures, and track KPIs for DTC and AI initiatives while balancing innovation with risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, with deep DTC commerce experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on AI/ML architecture, including generative AI in production.
• Proven MACH/composable commerce experience with microservices and API integration.
• Experience leading large transformation projects in retail/fashion.
• Experience across global products and multi‑cloud environments (AWS a must).
• Solid understanding of data governance and enterprise integration.

Responsabilités

• Define an enterprise AI and DTC architecture aligned with Deckers’ goals.
• Enforce architecture governance across brands and regions including AI review processes.
• Create a multi‑year DTC and AI roadmap with milestones, risks, and ownership.
• Own target architecture across ecommerce, OMS, payments, CDP, loyalty, and fulfillment.
• Lead MACH‑based, scalable, cloud‑native architecture modernization.
• Establish responsible‑AI controls including bias evaluation, privacy, and compliance.
• Mentor architects and engineers; communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
