Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect, AI and DTC Technology, to shape the architecture powering our consumer platforms and their practical, governed AI foundations. You will balance enterprise standards with the flexibility needed for innovation across brands, regions and technology teams.

Your leadership will define the DTC and AI reference architectures, governance, roadmaps, and cross‑platform integration patterns, while mentoring architects and engineers to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience in retail/fashion/consumer goods, with DTC ecommerce and integration focus.
• 3+ years architecting AI/ML solutions including generative AI in production.
• Proven MACH/composable commerce implementation experience with microservices and API integration.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise DTC and AI architecture vision aligned with business goals.
• Governance policies across brands/regions, incl AI review for risk and production readiness.
• Create multiyear DTC/AI architecture roadmap with milestones and owners.
• Champion MACH and modernize legacy systems to cloud-native APIs.
