Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions is seeking a Principal Architect to lead software product teams in delivering enterprise solutions. This fully remote role may involve travel to Arrow offices as requested within the US.

The successful candidate will bring 15+ years of experience, expert architecture skills, and a proven track record of guiding large teams through design, development and deployment of mission-critical systems. Remote work is supported across the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of related experience with a 4 year degree.
• Expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function.
• Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more software product teams to meet business requirements.
• Recommend most efficient way to produce new software applications.
• Evaluate progress and results of development efforts.
• Hire, fire, performance appraisals, and pay reviews of software developers.
• Report to the Software Development Senior Manager or higher.
• Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and upgrades.
• Design, develop and document specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Guide development team on issues related to design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.
• Manage one or more technical teams within budget and project schedule.
