Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to consult on security projects and help shape new security services offerings.

This is a remote role primarily serving the West region of the United States, with travel up to 20% as needed. You will collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, security engineers, and procurement to strengthen client relationships, stay current on trends, and educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.
• Strong technical cybersecurity knowledge including DLP, DSPM, DDR, and file encryption.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and providing technical expertise.
• Expertise in mainstream technologies including Proofpoint, zScaler, Mimecast, Cyera, Varonis, Concentric, Sentra.
• Travel to client locations required up to 20% for meetings and engagements.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre‑Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications (CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or relevant) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs and procurement to strengthen customer relationships.
• Understand SHI services offerings and expand knowledge through training.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies.
• Stay current on technology trends and market landscape.
• Develop collateral and use cases in the SHI lab to support engagements.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services.
