Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to act as a customer-facing security expert. You will adopt a consultative approach to security projects and help develop new security services offerings to address customer requests.

This remote role serves the West region and requires travel up to 20% for client meetings and internal engagements. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in security pre-sales, are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS) and security controls.
• Strong security knowledge: DLP, DSPM, DDR, encryption.
• Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity solutions to customers and support sales processes.
• Familiarity with mainstream security tools (Proofpoint, Zscaler, Mimecast, Cyera, Varonis, Concentric, Sentra).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers and procurement to strengthen customer relationships.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies.
• Stay current on technology trends and market landscape through study and labs.
• Develop collateral and use cases for cybersecurity sales engagements; assist in SOW creation.
