Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Network to work remotely within the New York area. You will partner with Architects and account teams to articulate network strategies, evaluate environments, and position network solutions that enable business outcomes.

The role emphasizes consultative engagement, ongoing partner alignment, and educating sales teams on technology trends and training. A strong network background and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
Minimum 2 years with Cisco networking products (switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, Meraki).
Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with account teams to assess customer environments and network maturity.
Strengthen relationships with OEMs and partners; educate sales on network solutions.
Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives.
Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
Engage CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs to ensure comprehensive account management.
