Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Network to work remotely in the Louisville, KY area with home-office setup.

You will partner with Architects and account teams to understand customer networks, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive opportunities in data center, cloud, network, security, and services spaces. The role requires strong network knowledge, the ability to educate sales teams, and engagement with CIO/IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking (switches/routers/wireless/Nexus/Meraki).
• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner and customer events; CCIE/CCNP/JNCIE/JNCIP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer network environments.
• Design tailored network solutions aligning with business goals.
• Educate sales teams on network technologies and selling strategies.
• Build relationships with OEMs and partners and stay updated on product information.
• Lead technical discussions with CIOs and other IT leaders.
