Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer- Network to partner with account teams and customers in a consultative network role. You will discuss Network platforms, align technology with business goals, and identify opportunities for SHI.

The role is remote in the New York, NY area with a home office setup. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Cisco networking expertise, and strong presentation skills are required, with travel to events possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, including switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki.
• Advanced Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, ACSP preferred; travel to SHI, partner, and customer events may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer environments and evaluate Network technologies, offerings, and processes.
• Educate and develop sales teams on Network solution selling and key technologies through training sessions.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners; stay updated on product information.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions that align with customers' business objectives and budgets.
• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs to ensure comprehensive account management and expand opportunities.
