Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists, coaching and developing talent while driving technical solutions that meet customer needs.

This individual will participate in customer meetings to move deals forward and help close opportunities. These roles are remote positions rooted in specified US regions; candidates must reside in West/Pacific Northwest/Mountain, Northeast/New England/DMV, Southeast, Texas.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% of travel for business.

Responsibilities

Engaging with multiple layers of contacts within a client’s organization to sell, build relationships and uncover opportunities.
Collaborating with sales team to help close deals by speaking to the technical side of recommended solutions.
Engaging the Local Technology Community and appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.
Strategically training sales team on the positioning of company solution practices, ensuring they understand customers' ongoing enterprise needs.
Monitoring employee performance and attendance records, acting on performance issues with actionable feedback.
