Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales Consulting Manager for Commercial, leading a team of inside Presales Engineers supporting SMB and Mid-Market customers. You will align technical resources with business priorities and drive scalable, AI-assisted selling in a high-volume Commercial environment.

The role requires strong people leadership, technical sales execution, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6–10+ years in Presales, Solutions Engineering, or related roles
• Leadership experience including people management
• Experience mentoring and coaching technical professionals
• Experience supporting quota-bearing Sales organizations
• Experience partnering with Sales leadership on pipeline prioritization and resource allocation
• Experience with SMB, Mid-Market, or Commercial segments
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and adjacent technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead Presales coverage across SMB and Mid-Market teams and opportunities.
• Partner with Inside Sales on pipeline development and territory planning.
• Align Presales capacity with business priorities and opportunity complexity.
• Coach discovery, consultative selling, and communicating business value.
• Participate in strategic, competitive, or technically complex opportunities.
• Identify and remove technical barriers to uncover new use cases.
• Use data to improve coverage, productivity, and cost of sale.
