Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Commercial Presales Engineer to support Networking Account Managers, channel partners, and customers in the sales cycle. You will help small and medium-sized businesses modernize, secure, and simplify their network infrastructure with HPE Networking solutions.

The role blends networking expertise, consultative selling, and customer-facing delivery across wired, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud-managed environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong networking foundation across campus, wireless, routing, and WAN.
• Experience with modern architectures such as SD-WAN and SASE.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort leading discovery conversations and guiding decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to develop strategy and drive technical wins.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover business drivers and modernization goals.
• Perform assessments of client environments and gaps.
• Design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across domains.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demos to technical and executive audiences.
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and specialists on complex opportunities.
