Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Texas is seeking a Pre-Sales System Engineer to join our remote/teleworker team, supporting Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and customers throughout the sales cycle with trusted technical guidance.

You will design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud-managed networking; deliver presentations, run demonstrations, and help drive proposals in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications preferred: Aruba ACA/ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP, CWNA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to develop account strategy and drive technical wins.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover business drivers and modernization goals.
• Conduct technical assessments to evaluate current environments and identify gaps.
• Design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security.
• Recommend solutions aligned to customer outcomes and modernization efforts.
• Deliver customized technical presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual engagements.
• Support development of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and specialists on complex opportunities.
• Maintain deep expertise across HPE Networking portfolios and trends.
• Stay current on AI-Ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, AI-driven networking, and campus fabric evolution.
