SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions for customers and internal sales teams.

This remote role requires residence in the Southeast region of the US and involves leading technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments. Responsibilities include assessing security architectures, developing high-level architectures and proposals, and delivering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Broad understanding of cybersecurity domains including identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations.
• Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to deliver live or virtual demonstrations.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; ability to document architectures and solutions.
• Relevant vendor or OEM cybersecurity technical or professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer security architectures, identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high-level architectures, solution proposals, and technical documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer needs and best practices.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Present technical content to diverse audiences, adapting style to audience and medium.
