Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to join our security team.

You will design and position cybersecurity solutions that align with customer business goals across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, while supporting sales efforts with technical expertise. In this remote role, you will lead technical discovery sessions, assess architectures, create scalable proposals, and deliver training to internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Broad understanding of enterprise Cloud environments along with securing hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations.
• Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to deliver live or virtual demonstrations.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and passion for technology.
• Strong documentation skills, including system and network diagrams and customer-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and technology environments.
• Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Presenting: Design and deliver engaging presentations, adapting content to audience, context, and medium.
• Detail-oriented: manage complex tasks, coordinate multiple projects, ensure accuracy and quality.
