Job summary

SHI is seeking a remote Pre-sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support customers and internal teams. The role focuses on designing and presenting cybersecurity solutions for modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on CNAPP capabilities across major cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will translate complex security concepts into business value and collaborate with partners. This is a remote, US-based position that may require travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Strong knowledge of CNAPP, CWPP, CIEM, and CDR.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products to diverse audiences.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid setups.
• Experience presenting security solutions to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design secure, scalable cloud security solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Present security propositions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoCs to validate fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused enablement and training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery after opportunity closure.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services.
