Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead the technical design for customer proposals across the public safety portfolio, including CAD/RMS, Call Handling, and analytics. You will own the technical architecture, interface designs, and collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Product teams nationwide.

The role demands strong presentation skills, stakeholder engagement, and ability to craft comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Experience with cloud applications and migrations to SaaS in regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security is desirable.
• Technical understanding of CAD/RMS/Analytics interfaces and public safety product portfolios.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and craft end-to-end technical solutions across product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead across the full sales lifecycle, from qualification to contract and transition to implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS, CommandCentral, and related product portfolios and roadmap.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and product teams to develop customer proposals and architecture diagrams.
• Design end-to-end solutions combining Motorola products with third-party components and assess costs and risks.
• Develop consistent RFP and proposal processes and create accurate solution documentation.
