Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to define, design, and deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions across its public safety product portfolio. You will lead technical architecture, interface designs, and engineering drawings for proposals nationwide, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams.

Responsibilities include leading sales lifecycle activities, understanding CAD/RMS and CommandCentral features, and crafting solutions with product and 3rd

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years of experience in one of the: Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, migrations from on-prem to SaaS (regulated industry).
• General knowledge of IP networking, protocols and security.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead that supports the sales lifecycle from qualification through contract.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand the PremierOne CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolio.
• Work with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions comprising product portfolio and 3rd party elements, owning designs.
• Document technical solution risks, costs, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop consistent approach to RFPs, proposals, and quotations.
• This is a customer-facing role requiring presentation skills and collaboration.
