Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead technical architecture for nationwide proposals, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams. Primary focus is on CAD/RMS, CommandCentral, and related public safety portfolios, designing end-to-end solutions and defining interfaces.

You will engage stakeholders, craft technical designs, and mitigate risks while supporting the sales lifecycle from qualification to contract and transition to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years in one of the listed areas.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS in regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and security.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead that supports the sales life-cycle from qualification through contract.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand the CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolio.
• Work with customers and the sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions and own the technical and interface designs.
• Identify, mitigate, and document technical solution risks and costs.
• Develop a consistent approach to RFPs, proposals, and quoting.
• Present to diverse audiences with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
