Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead the technical sales cycle for public safety products, shaping end-to-end solutions and defining architecture and interfaces. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to develop customer proposals nationwide and own the technical strategy.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, risk mitigation, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders, including public safety agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, migrations to SaaS in regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, protocols, and security.
• Experience building end-to-end solutions across product portfolios and third-party elements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales cycle from qualification to contract.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS, CommandCentral portfolio and upcoming features.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions combining product portfolio and third-party elements.
• Own technical and interface designs and associated costs and risk mitigation.
• Develop consistent RFPs, proposals, and documentation and drawings.
• Maintain excellent presentation skills across diverse audiences and teams.
