Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead technical design across nationwide opportunities, collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Product teams to define end-to-end, customer-driven solutions within our public safety portfolio.

You will own architecture, interface design, and engineering diagrams, while mitigating risks and aligning costs with customer and contract requirements. A strong background in CAD/RMS, 911, and analytics is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS.
• Strong general knowledge of IP networking, protocols and security.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales lifecycle from qualification through contract.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolio.
• Work with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions comprising product portfolio and 3rd party elements; own technical designs.
