Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to define and design end-to-end customer solutions across CAD/RMS, Call Processing, and Analytics. You will own the technical architecture and interface designs, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to support nationwide proposals.

This customer-facing role requires strong presentation skills, deep public safety domain knowledge, and the ability to translate requirements into deployable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS, preferably in regulated industries.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, protocols, and security.
• Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders on technical projects.
• Ability to craft end-to-end solutions across multiple product portfolios and third-party elements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales lifecycle from qualification through contract and transition to implementation.
• Engage stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS and CommandCentral product portfolios and upcoming features.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to capture needs and translate them into solutions.
• Design end-to-end solutions with product portfolios and third-party elements; own technical/interface designs.
• Identify risks, costs, and document technical solutions to meet contract and deployment requirements.
• Develop consistent RFPs, proposals, and drawings; maintain clear, actionable documentation.
