Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Customer Engineer to own the pre-sales technical journey from discovery through POC. You will craft tailored demos and verify technical fit to ensure a fast, valuable evaluation for customers.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Account Executives, stay close to Delivery Engineers, and support cross-sell while delivering measurable outcomes. Remote US-based position with strong analytics focus.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in Solutions/Sales Engineering or pre-sales in B2B SaaS.
• Strong background in data analytics, APIs, data warehouses or related areas.
• Commercial instinct and ability to drive deals through technical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to identify business challenges and qualification before POC.
• Design and deliver demos tailored to prospect outcomes and Mixpanel capabilities.
• Confirm technical fit and scope a meaningful POC with defined success.
• Own competitive positioning against alternatives and drive post-sale expansion.
