Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a remote Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales design, cost estimates and value engineering for Metasys BAS solutions across North America. You will liaise with sales, vendors and operations to ensure accurate, competitive proposals and effective project handoffs.

The role emphasizes technical sales support, cost development, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize building automation projects.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years plus controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems and building automation (BAS).
• Must be able to work on US restricted projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales development for BAS solutions and project cost estimates across North America.
• Coordinate pre-bid and pre-book estimate reviews and manage cost data through booking.
• Provide technical sales support and liaise with subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop scope definitions, system development direction, and vendor coordination.
