Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Pre-sales engineer to support South Atlantic BAS opportunities. You will lead pre-sales design, estimation, and cost development, liaise with subcontractors and vendors, and assist the sales team with technical value propositions across North America.

This role is remote within the United States, with collaboration across teams to deliver cost-optimized building solutions.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years plus controls sales/operations experience with HVAC systems and BAS cost development.
• Ability to work on US restricted projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to develop costs and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales design, estimation, and cost development for BAS projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather quotes and specs.
• Support sales with technical value proposition and solution demonstrations.
• Develop scope and cost estimates, and manage risk across projects.
• Interface with OpenBlue and other teams to define integrated automation solutions.
