Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sales Engineer for Building Automation Systems in Missouri to drive new business and support existing accounts by managing the full sales cycle for BAS projects.

You will translate technical requirements into competitive controls solutions, work on plan-and-spec, design-build and direct owner opportunities, and collaborate with operations to ensure successful project execution. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in HVAC controls or building automation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and pricing from plans and specifications.
• Manage opportunities from pursuit through project handoff.
• Track project scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM documentation.
• Present BAS software demonstrations and service offerings.
• Support margin management and post-project follow-up.
